synod council members,
committee members,
and will also elect voting members to attend the Churchwide Assembly which will be held in August, 2022, in Columbus, Ohio.

Synod council
Conference Synod Council Representatives
The following individuals were selected by their conferences to represent their respective conferences on the Synod Council. You will elect these representatives by ratification.
Barbara Carl, Fiesta Conference (2-year term; 1st term was extended due to COVID-19)
Laura Musfeldt, Northeast Valley Conference (2-year term; 1st term was extended due to COVID-19)
Lisa Parrish, Rio Salado Conference (3-year term)

Synod Council Vice President
This position is a four-year term, limited to two full terms consecutively. The candidate with the highest number of votes will be elected.
Female At-Large Synod Council Representatives
This position is a 3-year term and shall serve not more than 2 consecutive terms. The three candidates with the highest number of votes will be elected.
Male At-Large Synod Council Representative
This position is a 3-year term and shall serve not more than 2 consecutive terms. The candidate with the highest number of votes will be elected.
Rostered Minister Synod Council Representatives
This position is a 3-year term and shall serve not more than 2 consecutive terms. The three candidates with the highest number of votes will be elected.
Young Adult Synod Council Representatives
This position is a 3-year term and shall serve not more than 2 consecutive terms. The candidate with the highest number of votes will be elected.
Churchwide Assembly Representatives
You select one candidate for each opening.
Lay Male Churchwide Assembly Representatives
The two candidates with the highest number of votes will be elected to serve as lay male Churchwide Assembly representatives.
Lay Female Churchwide Assembly Representatives
The two candidates with the highest number of votes will be elected to serve as lay female Churchwide Assembly representatives.
Rostered Minister Churchwide Assembly Representatives
There are seven candidates for the three rostered leader churchwide assembly representative openings. The three candidates with the highest number of votes will be elected.
Person of Color/Primary language other than English Churchwide Assembly Representatives
There are two candidates for the Churchwide Assembly Person of Color/Primary language other than English opening. The candidate with the highest number of votes will be elected.
Youth or Young Adult Churchwide Assembly Representatives
There are four candidates for the Churchwide Assembly Youth OR Young Adult opening. The candidate with the highest number of votes will be elected.
Committees
Each person will be individually approved by election. These positions are for a term of six years each without consecutive re-election.
