Life Experiences: I attended the constituting assembly of the ELCA in Columbus, OH as a seminarian and was pleased to attend the first national gathering of rostered leaders in Atlanta a few years ago. Thirty-four years of Pastoral service in 4 congregations scattered over 3 synods has given me a broad and deep perspective on the ELCA. I have a growing passion for social issues fostered by participation in Valley Interfaith Project here in the Valley and service on any number of non-profit Boards of Directors over the years including serving currently as President of the Foothills Caring Corps board in Carefree. Christ the Lord is hosting its first inter this year and serving as supervisor has been a unique growth experience at this stage of my career.
