Life Experiences: For over 32-years I have been a City of Las Vegas employee. My job for the last 23 years has been to coordinate development with the development community and home owners as it pertains to local ordinances. It has taught me a lot about communication. I also represented our Public Works Department at Planning Commission meetings for 1 ½ years.
My leisure activities include walking, swimming, reading, watching movies and playing with our Labrador/Great Dane (“Labradane”) Rocky. Past activities included being a little league coach for one season and an assistant scout master for three years.
Related Activities: I am presently a member of the Grand Canyon Synod Executive Committee. In 2019, I was an attendee to the Churchwide Assembly in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. I was a member of church council of Reformation Lutheran here in Las Vegas being Vice President for 1 ½ years and president for 3 ½ years. Before the pandemic, my wife and I helped host families from Family Promise two or three nights a year at Reformation.
