Rev. Paul Block
Congregational Membership: New Song Lutheran Church, Colorado River Conference
Education/training: BA, Saint Olaf College, M.Div. Harvard Divinity School, Certificate, Pacific Lutheran Theological Seminary
Occupation: Lead Pastor, New Song Lutheran Church, Henderson, NV
Life Experiences: Having served in ordained ministry for twenty years, I have walked with disciples at various aspects throughout their lives. My congregational settings have been as varied as the South Bronx, where I led a bilingual parish in a poverty setting to my current ministry in a suburban setting near a Sun City development. I value the invitation of the Holy Spirit into conversations between disciples, often encouraging us to discover unforeseen possibilities. If elected to the Consultation Committee, I will bring strong listening skills and a love of small group gatherings.
