Rev. Pat Reed
Transition Coach
Pastor Pat Reed was ordained in May of 2001. She attended Fuller Seminary Southwest and Pacific Lutheran Theological Seminary in Berkeley, CA. Before becoming a pastor, she was an analytical chemist and then earned a degree in library science. Pastor Pat served as associate pastor at Resurrection Lutheran Church in Scottsdale, AZ, and as solo pastor at St. Andrew Lutheran Church in Phoenix. Pastor Pat retired from St. Andrew in September 2018 after over 12 years of shared ministry and blessings with that community. Pastor Pat served as Synod Council representative, Dean of the Capital Conference, Spiritual Director on many Cursillo weekends and taught several Diakonia Classes. In January, 2021, she began serving as a Transition Coach for Grand Canyon Synod congregations seeking pastors.
Pastor Pat grew up in New Jersey and has lived in Phoenix since 1986. She married Mike Reed in February 2005. Between them, they have five daughters and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Pastor Pat and Mike like to travel and enjoy seeing different parts of the world.
