Josh Kerney
ELCA Foundation Gift Planner
Josh Kerney is a Regional Gift Planner with the ELCA Foundation, a ministry of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America. He serves congregations, ministry organizations and individuals in Northern California, Nevada, Colorado, New Mexico, Western Texas, Utah and Wyoming, providing planned giving expertise as well as resources, financial education and endowment management services to help clients joyfully answer the call to love and serve our neighbor. Josh has a passion for providing clarity in philanthropic legacy planning and in helping donors to be intentional in decisions about their generosity. He and colleague Lisa Higginbotham partner with the Grand Canyon Synod on donor relationship development, gift policy implementation, stewardship of planned gifts, endowment, legacy gifts and more.
Josh lives in Paradise, CA with his wife, Renee, and their two amazing children, Eleanor and Fischer. Through God’s grace and abundance, they continue their journey of rebuilding and restoration following the wildfires of 2018.
