Last Call: Submit Your 2024 ELCA Congregation Report by April 11
If your congregation hasn’t yet submitted its 2024 ELCA Annual Congregation Report, there’s still time—but the window is closing quickly. The ELCA will accept submissions through Thursday, April 11. After that, the reporting system will close to allow the churchwide organization to process data for annual reports and ministry planning.

This year’s reporting process moved to a new digital platform. As expected with any major system transition, it hasn’t been without its difficulties. Many users have experienced issues, and the ELCA acknowledges the challenges.
“We want to thank you for the patience you have shown as we navigate these issues,” the ELCA stated in a recent update. “We’ve compiled a set of frequently asked questions and temporary workarounds for this reporting cycle.”

While not all issues can be resolved this year, the ELCA is committed to improving the experience moving forward—and your feedback helps. If you encounter problems not listed in the FAQ document, you are encouraged to report them. Your input helps shape a better reporting system for next year.
As people of the Lutheran tradition, we know the importance of faithful accounting—not only of finances and statistics, but of our shared mission and ministry. These reports are more than data; they help tell the story of how God is at work in our congregations across the synod and beyond.
Please don’t delay—complete your congregation’s report by April 11.
