Policy Highlights

  • Child Hunger: The Food Research & Action Center (FRAC) reports modest growth in after-school meal participation but notes many eligible children still go unserved. This is a call to action for our congregations to support anti-hunger initiatives.

  • COP29: ELCA staff are advocating for ambitious climate action during COP29 in Baku, Azerbaijan, from Nov. 11–22. Join us in praying for bold leadership.

  • ACT Alliance General Assembly: ELCA representatives joined global faith leaders in Indonesia, emphasizing partnerships that embody Christ’s love.
