Civic Duty and Faith: Join Autumn Byars for Election Engagement Talks
As Lutherans, living out our faith extends beyond our church walls and into the broader community, particularly in the political arena where our advocacy can lead to substantial change. This June, embrace your role in democracy by joining a series of compelling sessions hosted every Thursday at 5:30 PM PDT/MST by Autumn Byars, the 2023-24 Hunger Fellow with Lutheran Advocacy Ministry Arizona.
These weekly sessions, part of the Abide initiative, focus on empowering young voices in the ELCA to actively participate in the upcoming elections. Autumn Byars, along with other ELCA Advocacy Fellows, will guide discussions on the importance of young voter turnout, the ELCA’s strategies for election engagement, and how you can contribute to this pivotal process.
