Your Intent Fuels Our Mission: Submit After Your Annual Meeting
As we walk together through Lent—a season of reflection, renewal, and recommitment—we are reminded that our collective generosity strengthens Christ’s mission in powerful and far-reaching ways.
So far, 41 congregations in the Grand Canyon Synod have submitted their 2025 Mission Support Statement of Intent. Thank you! Each response helps shape a more faithful and effective ministry throughout Arizona, southern Nevada, St. George, Utah, and the Navajo Nation.
If your congregation has not yet submitted its 2025 intent, we ask you to do so as soon as possible after your annual meeting. These statements allow us to responsibly plan, allocate resources, and support the ministries of the ELCA and our synod—from local outreach to global partnerships.
Submitting your intent is simple. You may:
Fill out and return the PDF form at gcsynod.org/intent, or
Use the online submission form directly at this link: Submit Online
Learn more or find all submission resources at gcsynod.org/intent
This process is not just administrative—it’s a faithful expression of our shared commitment to being the body of Christ in the world. By stating your mission support intent, your congregation participates in sustaining a vibrant network of congregations, leaders, and ministries doing God’s work with our hands.
If you have any questions or need help submitting your intent, please contact the synod office at Office@gcsynod.org.
We are grateful for your partnership, your faithfulness, and your leadership in this season of discernment and hope.
