Walking Through Lent with Creation: Hope Amidst the Shadows

Walking Through Lent with Creation: Hope Amidst the Shadows

Lent calls us to walk through the valley, acknowledging loss, yet holding onto the promise of Resurrection. This season, many of us advocating for creation care feel the weight of climate challenges, legislative uncertainties, and the pressing need for faithful action. But we do not walk alone.

On Tuesday, March 18, join us for March Good Green News—a time of reflection, community, and resource-sharing at 4pm AK / 5pm PT / 6pm MT / 7pm CT / 8pm ET. Together, we will explore what it means to be disciples of creation, finding new life even in times of despair. Register here.

Your Church’s Story Can Make a Difference

Has your congregation benefited from the Direct Pay for Clean Energy Tax Credits through the Inflation Reduction Act? With the new congressional session, these incentives are under threat. ELCA Advocacy is gathering real-life examples from churches to help protect these provisions. If your church has used these credits, please contact Christine Moffett (ELCA Advocacy Program Director for Environment & Energy) at christine.moffett@elca.org.
