During the gathering, Andrea will lead three compelling sessions on storytelling:

  1. How Do You Do This, Anyway? (Monday afternoon)
Dive into the essentials of storytelling with practical tips, examples, and opportunities to practice the craft. This session will cover the dos and don’ts, providing you with the tools to become an effective storyteller.

  2. Story the People (Tuesday morning)
Explore the application of storytelling within ministry. Learn how to curate stories and storytellers, and how to prepare your community to receive and engage with these stories. This session will expand your understanding of storytelling as a powerful tool in the church.

  3. Practice the Craft (Wednesday morning)
Experience live storytelling with four storytellers sharing their narratives on a chosen theme. Engage in facilitated feedback and reflections, gaining insights into how this process can be replicated in your congregational setting.

In addition to these insightful sessions, the gathering will include worship, synod updates, and plenty of opportunities for fellowship and relaxation. Enjoy delicious meals together, beginning with dinner on Monday evening and concluding with lunch on Wednesday afternoon.
