Transformative Training for Lay Leaders Starts January 2025

Raising and equipping lay leaders is one of the most important—and challenging—tasks for any congregation. Lay leaders are the backbone of ministry, often balancing complex responsibilities with limited resources. That’s why the School for Lay Ministry, launched in 2021, was created: to provide lay leaders with the tools, training, and encouragement they need to thrive.

The program is entering its third year with an expanded curriculum designed to meet the needs of modern ministry. Starting January 18, 2025, the next cohort will embark on a year-long journey of live instruction, on-demand learning, and practical strategies for leading with faith and confidence.

Program Highlights:

  • 36 Hours of Live Instruction: Monthly Saturday sessions led by the Rev. Jon Anderson foster connection, renewal, and small-group support.

  • 96 Hours of On-Demand Learning: Explore modules on preaching, church management, digital ministry, and more, all at your own pace.

  • Innovative Digital Ministry Strategies: Learn to navigate today’s digital landscape while staying grounded in faith.

New Scholarships Available: Ensuring accessibility for all who feel called to lead.

The School for Lay Ministry equips participants to craft sermons, lead worship, provide spiritual care, and navigate the challenges of today’s church. Whether you’re a seasoned lay leader or stepping into a new role, this program offers invaluable training within a supportive cohort.
