The Flag and the Cross: White Christian Nationalism and the Threat to American Democracy

In a virtual event on Monday, 5/16/2022, 12pm MST/PDT, 1pm MDT, Christians Against Christian Nationalism is excited to host Samuel Perry and Philip Gorski for a discussion about their new book “The Flag and the Cross: White Christian Nationalism and the Threat to American Democracy.” Register here.

Gorski and Perry are sociologists, who teach respectively at Yale University and the University of Oklahoma, and have documented the rise of white Christian nationalism in the United States. This discussion, moderated by BJC Executive Director Amanda Tyler, will be an opportunity for us to ask Gorski and Perry questions and gain insights into how we can fight Christian nationalism together.
