Lift Every Voice: Join the Celebration of Diversity Choir

The Grand Canyon Synod invites all vocalists to join us in a special Celebration of Diversity event, honoring the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. through music, reflection, and community. This year’s choir will perform inspiring gospel-style anthems and hymns, bringing together voices of all ages, creeds, and backgrounds to celebrate unity and justice.

The event will take place on Sunday, January 19, 2025, at 3:00 PM at King of Glory Lutheran Church (2085 E. Southern Ave., Tempe, AZ 85282). Rehearsals for this meaningful service are as follows:

• Saturday, January 4: 1–3 PM

• Saturday, January 11: 1–3 PM

• Thursday, January 16: 6:30–8 PM

• Saturday, January 18: 1–3 PM

We’re thrilled to feature Bishop Yehiel Curry of the Metropolitan Chicago Synod as the preacher at King of Glory. This is a unique opportunity to come together in faith and action, reflecting on Dr. King’s enduring vision of justice and diversity.
