Signs Along the Way: Discern Your Call to Ministry at PLTS

Are you feeling called to explore seminary education? Wondering if a Master of Divinity or a Master’s in Spirituality and Social Change might be the right next step for you? If so, consider joining Pacific Lutheran Theological Seminary (PLTS) for their in-person Signs Along the Way discernment retreat from November 8-10, 2024 in Berkeley, California.

This weekend retreat offers an excellent opportunity for individuals at any stage of their discernment journey to engage deeply with their sense of call. Whether you’re interested in ordination, diaconal ministry, or Lutheran year studies, this event is designed to help you reflect and explore what your future could hold.

The retreat runs from Friday at 4:00 p.m. through Sunday at 2:30 p.m. and includes time for intentional discernment, interaction with current students, faculty, and staff, and experiencing life at PLTS. You’ll also get the chance to sit in on a seminary class, explore online learning options, and connect with others who are navigating similar questions about their vocation.

PLTS will provide lodging and most meals for the weekend, and there is some travel assistance available if needed. This event promises to be a meaningful way to consider your future in ministry or theological education, all while learning more about the seminary’s programs in the rich context of the San Francisco Bay Area.
