Saint Andrew Lutheran Church is actively seeking a dedicated individual to join our team as a Maintenance and Groundskeeping Specialist. Position Overview

This part-time role, spanning 10-15 hours weekly, is vital for the upkeep of the buildings and grounds of our campus. The tentative start is immediate upon finding the right candidate. The position offers an estimated annual compensation of $22,000.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Overall Maintenance: Performing basic property and building maintenance including minor repairs, painting, caulking, and other tasks that do not require a licensed contractor.

  • Groundskeeping: Weekly maintenance of grounds including lawn mowing, rodent control, and trash pickup.

  • Operations Manual Creation: Developing a manual with a schedule of recurring maintenance items.

Key Qualifications:

  • Related work experience and working knowledge of general building maintenance and groundskeeping.

  • Self-motivation, minor carpentry, painting/drywall, plumbing, and lawn equipment usage and repair skills are crucial.

  • Ability to work well with volunteers and vendors.
