Navajo Lutheran Mission 2021 Summer Newsletter

Staying Open In Service

While most of the reservation was closed for the past year, your mission's goal of providing essential service to the Navajo Community remained first and foremost. Thanks to our incredible entire staff, we stayed open with food, water and free noon meals for any Rock Point residents in need. Despite all obstacles, this is truly why we exist.

From the Executive Director

The Mission is a thriving place these days! The new food bank, new deep well, Hoz’ho Café, and food delivery to students and siblings keep everyone over-busy but the blessing of abundance for the community far outweighs our challenges to keep all the balls in the air.

What keeps everything flowing is the outpouring of love and financial support that comes from you. In this newsletter, you can catch a glimpse of all that is accomplished through your generosity and God’s grace.

Remember that you can contact us at any time with questions, ideas, or concerns. I can be reached at development@nelm.org or 480-694-5197.

Thank you for your partnership and continuing prayers for Navajo Lutheran Mission.

Kate Adelman, Executive Director

Try Reading the Bible in Navajo (Diné)

Háálá Diyin God éí nihokáá' dine'é t'áá íiyisí ayóó'ájó'níigo bąą haye' t'ááłá'í há yizhchínígíí baazhníłtį́, áko t'áá háiida boodlą́ągo baa dzólíhígíí éí doo ádoodįįł da, nidi iiná doo ninít'i'ii bee hólǫ́ǫ dooleeł.

For God so greatly loved and dearly prized the world that He gave up His only unique Son, so that whoever relies on Him shall not be lost but have everlasting life.
