From Prescott, Arizona to a Bachelors of Fine Arts from Arizona State University, Autumn Byars has long been influenced by her deep roots in the Southwest and her unwavering faith. A confirmation from Apostles Lutheran Church and pivotal moments at the Lutheran Campus Ministry have guided her journey.
Today, Autumn's passion for economic justice, hunger relief, and Christian advocacy brings her to the Grand Canyon Synod staff as the ELCA Hunger Advocacy Fellow for 2023-24. In her role, she’s eager to bridge her faith with modern democratic policy, aiming to serve and support those in need. With the support of LAMA, she embarks on this new chapter to amplify her commitment to Christ's call.
