Make a Difference: Be Part of the Churchwide Assembly Volunteer Team
The Grand Canyon Synod is honored to host the 2025 ELCA Churchwide Assembly, the primary decision-making gathering of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America. This triennial event brings together Lutherans from across the country for worship, discernment, and decisions that shape the future of our shared ministry.
As the host synod, we have a unique opportunity to welcome and serve the wider church—and we need your help! We are looking for up to 100 volunteers to assist with various roles, including registration, hospitality, worship support, tech assistance, and more. Whether you can commit a few hours or a few days, your time and talents will ensure that this gathering is welcoming, organized, and meaningful for all attendees.
