Luther Seminary’s Faith+Lead launches 2023-2024 School for Lay Ministry
In so many of our churches, lay leaders are frequently the unsung heroes. They’ll preach on a few hours’ notice, fill seats on committees, visit sick members, and organize a mission event, fundraiser, or food bank all without blinking an eye – and that’s just by mid-week.
If that’s you, thank you! If it describes one or more of the people you work with, make sure to let them know how much they mean to you and your congregation. The life of a lay leader is complicated, and much of what they do has been learned on the job.
Because of that, we’re excited to launch our 2023-2024 School for Lay Ministry. Over the course of 12 months, we’ll be breaking down the topics that matter most – from understanding sermon structure and older adult ministry to digital culture and church history. It’s going to be a powerful and immersive learning opportunity, and you’re not going to want to miss it.
Does this sound like it might be exactly what you are looking for right now?
