Join a Crossings Table Talk with Pastor Matthew Metevelis on church and civil society
We invite you to an upcoming Crossings Table Talk on June 20, 2023, at 11 am PDT/MST, noon MDT. Reverend Matthew Metevelis (Living Hope, Las Vegas), who recently published the thought-provoking article, "Where the Kingdoms are Held Together": Free Institutions and the American Church's Political Vocation in Word and World (Vol 43 #2, Spring 2023), will be the presenter.
Table Talks are online gatherings that delve into specific topics based on relevant articles. This month, they’ll be exploring the intriguing relationship between the church and civil society in the American context, guided by Rev. Metevelis' insights.
The event is free to attend, and we encourage all who are interested to join this enlightening discussion. To participate, pre-registration is essential. Please email Cathy Lessmann, cathy.lessmann@crossings.org, to secure your place. Upon registration, you will receive an invitation to join our Zoom-based Crossings Table Talk.
We look forward to engaging with you in this discussion and deepening our understanding of our role within society.
