Mount of Olives Lutheran Church in Phoenix invites you to this spring’s Music for Food concert series, a three-part celebration of jazz, classical music, and fellowship—all in support of their Olive Branch Community of Hope Food Pantry. Held on April 13, April 27, and May 4, these free concerts offer a chance to enjoy beautiful music while making a tangible impact in our community.

For over 40 years, Mount of Olives has lived out its call to “put Faith in Action Together,” serving more than 150 families every week through its food ministry. What began as a coat-closet pantry has grown into a robust outreach program, now in partnership with St. Mary’s Food Bank and Waste Not.

The concert series kicks off on Saturday, April 13 at 5:30 PM with Jazz Vespers featuring Beth Lederman and Typhanie Monique. The second event is a Classical Concert on Saturday, April 27 at 3:00 PM, showcasing pianist Yudi Zhang & Friends. The final performance is another Jazz Vespers on Saturday, May 4 at 5:30 PM with Beth Lederman joined by Diana Lee.

Each concert is followed by light refreshments, generously supported by a Thrivent Action Grant, and offers a chance for community connection.

All events are held at Mount of Olives Lutheran Church, 3546 E Thomas Road, Phoenix, AZ 85018.

In a world of great need, this is a chance to live out Christ’s call to serve our neighbors—through food, fellowship, and the gift of music. Come, bring a friend, and join this ministry in harmony.
