Human Rights in the Holy Land: Palestinian Christian Leader Jonathan Kuttab Speaks in Phoenix

Jonathan Kuttab, a distinguished Palestinian Christian human rights lawyer, is in Phoenix for a series of impactful discussions on “The U.S., Palestine, Israel, and Human Rights.” With a reputation for committed nonviolent advocacy, Kuttab co-founded Al Haq, Palestine’s premier human rights organization, and currently serves as the Executive Director of Friends of Sabeel North America (FOSNA). His visit to Greater Phoenix offers an important opportunity to hear firsthand from a leader in international peace efforts, deeply grounded in a faith-centered call for justice and reconciliation. As a Christian Palestinian from East Jerusalem, Kuttab has dedicated his career to advocating for nonviolent solutions and equitable peace in the Holy Land. His role as head of the Legal Committee in negotiating the 1994 Cairo Agreement between Israel and the PLO exemplifies his skill and commitment to diplomacy.

In his talks, Kuttab will address the complex intersections of U.S. involvement, Palestinian rights, and Israeli-Palestinian relations, inviting attendees into a thoughtful dialogue centered on justice and peace.
