Half a Century of Ministry: Mountain View Lutheran’s 50th Anniversary Festivities

Mountain View Lutheran Church in Phoenix (1002 South 48th Street, Phoenix, AZ 85044) is joyfully celebrating 50 years of ministry with a special anniversary weekend on Saturday, April 5, and Sunday, April 6. This milestone is an opportunity to reflect on God’s faithfulness and the congregation’s impact over the past five decades.

The celebration kicks off on Saturday, April 5, with a 50th Anniversary Dinner and Worship Service. A delicious meal catered by Arrivederci (Chandler) will be shared among members and friends. Tickets are still available but limited to 200 attendees—this is the final weekend to secure yours! Reserve your spot at: www.mvlutheran.org/50thdinner.

On Sunday, April 6, Mountain View Lutheran will host a special 9:00 AM worship service, with Bishop Deborah K. Hutterer presiding. This unified service will be a time of thanksgiving, praise, and reflection on how God has worked through this congregation over the years.

Following worship, the celebration continues with Sunday Funday—a family-friendly festival featuring bounce houses, food trucks, games, crafts, a dunk tank, and more! It’s a chance for all ages to gather in joy and fellowship, marking this special anniversary together.

All are welcome to be part of this milestone weekend! For more details on these and other upcoming 50th Anniversary events, visit: www.mvlutheran.org/mvlc50th.
