From Public Lands to Public Witness: Opportunities to Show Up This Week

People of faith across Arizona have a full week ahead. From democracy webinars to tree planting, the Arizona Faith Network is sharing vital events and calls to action that invite us to live out our Lutheran values of justice, stewardship, and public witness.

1. “Weaponizing Faith”: A Conversation on Religious Nationalism and Democracy

📅 Tuesday, March 26, 4:30 pm MST / 7:30 pm EDT (via Zoom)

Join journalist and author Katherine Stewart for an eye-opening one-hour webinar exploring how disinformation and religious nationalism threaten real religious freedom and democracy. Drawing from her new book Money, Lies, and God, Stewart unpacks the powerful financial and political forces behind these movements. Moderated by Jewish leaders Lynn Davis and Paul Golin, the conversation also offers practical ways faith communities can respond.
