Finding Light in the Darkness: A Blue Christmas Worship Service
As the season of Advent unfolds, many of us look for the light of hope in the long, dark nights of winter. Yet for some, this season is marked by deep grief, loneliness, or pain. If you are struggling to feel the joy this time of year often demands, we invite you to join the Blue Christmas Winter Solstice Worship Service presented by the Center of Addiction & Faith on Thursday, Dec. 19, 2024, from 6-7 PM MST (5-6 PM PST).
This virtual candlelight service offers a sacred space to acknowledge the very real challenges many of us face during the holidays. Rooted in the promise that “a light shines in the darkness, and the darkness did not overcome it” (John 1:5), this worship experience is designed to honor the complexity of our emotions, to plead for God’s presence, and to seek light in the midst of pain.
Whether you are navigating personal grief, mental health struggles, or other burdens, this service is a reminder that you are not alone. Together, we will gather in faith to seek hope, healing, and renewal.

Come as you are, and let the candlelight remind us of the enduring promise of God’s love and grace in every season of life.
