This part-time, salaried position is ideal for someone with a passion for youth ministry and family engagement. The Director will lead programs that enrich faith formation, coordinate mission trips, and build supportive relationships within the church community. You will work closely with our Senior Pastor, Associate Pastor, and a committed group of volunteers and staff to nurture and develop our youth’s spiritual lives and leadership skills.
Key Responsibilities Include:
Coordinating educational programs and retreats for youth.
Leading mission trips and community service projects.
Overseeing the Confirmation program and annual Campformation.
Encouraging youth participation in church activities and worship.
Managing communications across various platforms to keep our community connected and informed.
Qualifications:
A vibrant Christian faith and familiarity with Lutheran theology and traditions.
At least two years of experience in a similar role within a congregational setting.
Strong administrative, communication, and organizational skills.
Ability to inspire and mentor youth, working effectively as part of a team.
