Cruzando Fronteras asks for Christmas gift help

Rev. Rodger A. Babnew, Jr., with Cruzando Fronteras, shares this letter asking our help in celebrating Christmas with families waiting in Nogales. We also share his September 2020 video report on Vimeo or at the bottom of this page.

Dear Friends and supporters of Cruzando Fronteras,

This special time of year when many of us are preparing for Christmas and remembering the birth of our Lord and Savior Jesus. Let us also remember Joseph and Marys’ journey to bring the King of Kings to a safe area for the Lord to be born. Fleeing certain death and, traveling a far distance to foreign lands for security and a safe life for their child and our Lord. Let us also remember our families here on our southern border fleeing in the same way, and for the same reason to save their children.

With remain in Mexico still in affect here on our Southern Borders and our families here in Nogales, Sonora waiting for either the Ninth Circuit Court to rule the illegality of MPP, or the change in our country’s leadership. We are asking for you to help us bring Christmas to our families, especially the children. Below is a list of items (generic) that will bring joy to our children this Christmas, and also to let them all know, THAT THEY ARE NOT FORGOTTEN !!!

Our Posada this year will be December 19th at La Casa, where many of the families that reside with us have been with us for almost a year. We have had six children born to us in this time of the pandemic, with another 150+ children for whom we call our family that also reside on our property.

Please assist us in this endeavor. Donations and gifts may be mailed to Cruzando Frontersas, 969 W. Country Club Dr., Nogales, AZ 85621.

Many blessings and a Merry Christmas to you all.
