Anchor Church presentation

We invite you to a presentation on the Anchor Church model on Tuesday 1/11/2022, 7pm MST, 6pm PST, with Pastor Charles Newman of Crossroads in San Tan Valley. Anchor Church is a grassroots movement within the ELCA where leaders accompany leaders toward cultural transformation within congregations. Register for the Zoom meeting here.

This is an 18-month process to garner tools for becoming an Anchor church.  Participants gather in cohorts to assess and understand their context, clarify vision, train leaders and engage in strategic cultural development to enhance Christ’s mission in the world. 

As we navigate an ever-changing world, we are reminded that we are not alone. While many congregations in our synod are struggling with the same questions, we remember that we are better together. As such we want are grateful for partnerships in the Grand Canyon Synod.
