Advent invites us into a sacred season of waiting, hope, and reflection. This year, Spirit in the Desert Retreat Center offers a unique online program, Restore Our Hope: Advent Centering Prayer. Each Monday in December, join facilitator Sheri Brown for 30 minutes of spiritual renewal through song, guided meditation, and communal centering prayer. Register today at Spirit in the Desert’s website and share in this Advent journey of peace and prayer.
Sessions will take place on Zoom at 12:00 PM (Arizona/MST) on December 2, 9, 16, and 23. Weekly themes explore the challenges of our world—competition, isolation, and fear—and the hope found in connection, stillness, and renewal through Christ. Each session begins with a centering song or meditation, followed by 20 minutes of silent, communal prayer.
Whether you are seeking a peaceful moment amid the season’s busyness or longing for deeper spiritual connection, these sessions offer an opportunity to anchor yourself in God’s presence during this holy season of waiting.
