Rev. Jonathan Linman joins The Lutheran Ecumenical and Inter-Religious Relations Network
We are delighted to announce that Rev. Jonathan Linman, pastor at Faith/La Fe in Phoenix, has been appointed to serve as our synod representative to The Lutheran Ecumenical and Inter-Religious Relations Network (LEIRN). He will join Rev. Dr. Mari Larson in this capacity, strengthening our synod's voice within this influential organization.
LEIRN is a volunteer-based body representing all 65 synods of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA). The network serves as a model for ecumenical and interreligious engagement, promoting dialogue and understanding within our church and beyond.
Rev. Linman's appointment underscores his commitment to fostering interfaith dialogue and ecumenical engagement. His experience and passion for unity make him an ideal representative for our synod.
The LEIRN representatives convene annually at the National Workshop on Christian Unity, a gathering that serves as a platform for deepening our understanding of unity in diversity and fostering greater connections across various Christian traditions.
As Rev. Linman takes on this new role, we look forward to seeing the fruits of his contributions to LEIRN and witnessing the impact of his work on the wider Church community. We wish him every success and pray for his fruitful service in this new endeavor.
