Mark your calendars for key conferences in 2025 and discover fresh resources for the upcoming church year.

Each month, ELCA Worship brings together a rich collection of resources and events to support worship leaders, planners, musicians, and those who care about the worship life of the church. This September, we are pleased to highlight opportunities from several of our Lutheran and ecumenical partners.

The Association of Lutheran Church Musicians (ALCM) is gearing up for its Fall Webinar Series and invites you to save the date for their summer 2025 conference, For all that is to be, in Raleigh-Durham, N.C., from August 4-8. Early registration opens this month, with significant savings available for early signups.

Lutheran Summer Music offers a beautiful new arrangement by Anne Krentz Organ, The Ash Grove, for solo instrument and keyboard accompaniment. This free download is part of their Hymn Tune Project and is a gift to all who wish to bring fresh music into their worship.

For those interested in liturgical renewal, the Institute of Liturgical Studies will host a conference from April 28-30, 2025, in Valparaiso, Ind. Titled Rites of Passage: Engaging Occasional Practitioners in a Secular Age, this event will focus on how we can better serve those who connect with the church during significant life moments.

Music that Makes Community (MMC) continues to promote communal song-sharing with a series of fall workshops across the country, from Texas to New Hampshire and Wisconsin. These workshops are a chance to engage deeply in communal singing and explore how music can foster connection and transformation.

Finally, resources from the Center for Church Music and Augsburg Fortress provide further opportunities to equip your congregation for the new church year. Augsburg Fortress is also offering a new Advent devotional and a visually stunning church calendar featuring the art of Ukrainian artist Ivanka Demchuk.
