Last Call for Registration: Grand Canyon Synod Women of the ELCA Fall Retreat

As the demands of life pile up, it’s easy to feel overwhelmed, tired, and questioning your purpose. If you’ve been searching for a way to rekindle your spirit, the Grand Canyon Synod-Women of the ELCA invite you to join them for a transformative retreat in Tucson, AZ. Held at Our Saviour’s Lutheran Church on October 4-5, this retreat is a chance to step back, rejuvenate, and allow the Holy Spirit to set your heart on fire.

We are thrilled to welcome Elizabeth McBride, the Director for Intergenerational Programs, Digital Engagement, and Editor of Boldcafe.org from the ELCA Churchwide office in Chicago, as our keynote speaker. Elizabeth will guide us in developing a whole and healthy body, empowering us to embrace the plans God has for us. In addition to this, you’ll have the opportunity to engage with two dynamic young women pastors during a special Networking Event on Friday evening.

This retreat isn’t just about spiritual growth—it’s also about connection and community. Women from over 20 churches across the synod have already registered, eager to share and learn from one another’s experiences. Whether you’re looking to make new friends or deepen existing relationships, this retreat offers the perfect setting.

And don’t forget to bring your shopping spirit! Over 22 unique gift baskets will be available for purchase, with all proceeds supporting WELCA Scholarship Funds. With the holidays just around the corner, it’s the perfect time to start your gift shopping while supporting a great cause.

The final deadline to register is September 21. Don’t miss this chance to invest in yourself and your faith journey. Visit www.grandcanyonwomen.org/events to register online, find lodging information, and explore scholarship opportunities. Invite a friend to join you—this could be the gift that sets your life ablaze with new friendships and lasting memories.

As we gather, remember the words of Acts 1:8, “You will be filled with power when the Holy Spirit comes upon you.” Come, be filled, and leave inspired.
