GCS Pastors invited to recharge at Spirit in the Desert Retreat Center

Dear beloved pastors of our Grand Canyon Synod,

How are you doing? Seriously, how are you? The strains of these times are heart wrenching, shattering, nearly overwhelming some days. You must be exhausted.

You're full, we're empty. Would you like a quiet space with mountain views, pool, labyrinth, library and chapel to relax for a day or two, free of charge? We have this amazing place of peace and rest, just sitting here. Try rebooting in Carefree with us.

We are not hosting retreats and the staff is furloughed, so the big kitchen isn't open, but you can eat out or bring your own food and heat it up. Social distancing is on the honor system; we are taking the necessary precautions. Significant others welcome.

Catch a sunset. Pray. Read a book. Walk in silence. Maybe meet our skeleton crew.
