Community celebration of all healthcare workers, nurses, and hospitals

Dear faith community colleagues,

For all hospitals across the United States, the first two weeks of May each year are spent celebrating health care workers—first with Nurses Week and then Hospital Week. 

This year Tucson Medical Center is inviting the community to join in the celebrations by taking a few minutes in the morning to offer prayers or meditations and in the evening by making some noise to let our health care workers know that they are appreciated.

 We would be honored if the churches, congregations, synogogues, mosques, temples, and sanghas in Tucson and beyond would consider participating in this community celebration by offering prayers or meditations at 7 a.m. and ringing their bells each evening at 7 p.m., beginning May 3rd.
