A Legacy in Harmony: Historic Hammond Organ Finds New Home
UPDATE: This organ has found a home with a new congregation in Phoenix.
In a heartfelt gesture bridging generations of music and worship, the music director of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church (Easton, MA), Rita Corey, is parting with a piece of history—a 1953 Walnut Hammond Organ C-3.
This instrument, purchased by her mother, a devoted church organist, has been meticulously maintained and is accompanied by a matching walnut bench and Leslie speaker. Now located in Scottsdale, AZ, it's offered free to any church or church camp that cherishes the rich sound of a classic organ.
There are no barriers for removal, ensuring a smooth transition to its new home. This organ is more than an instrument; it's a legacy awaiting new hands to bring its chords to life. To continue this musical tradition, please reach out to Rita Corey by mid-February, 508-446-2608.
