For pastors of the Grand Canyon Synod who have been ordained for ten years or less, the Scholarship for International Travel is offering a final opportunity for those who have been ordained for 10 years or less. The final two scholarships of $6,000 each are available for pastoral spirits longing for adventure and educational enrichment in international landscapes.

The kind-hearted initiative, made possible by a synod pastor and spouse, aims to create experiences fostering growth and learning in diverse cultures. Destination options are varied, including Palestine/Israel, Senegal, Eastern Germany, and Mexico, each with its unique history and spiritual significance.

This is the final year of this enriching scholarship, and applications are open from January 1 to March 1, 2024. A detailed and thoughtful application can be submitted here. The scholarships will be awarded to two individual pastors in 2024, and recipients will be announced on March 31, 2024.
