Global Hunger & U.S. Policy: A Conversation with Rick Steves & Rev. Eugene Cho

Fighting Hunger, Advocating for Justice: A Special Event with Rick Steves & Rev. Eugene Cho

Monday, March 3 | 7:00 p.m. MT | Online via Zoom

Hunger is a reality for 10% of humanity. While that number has improved over the years, it is still unacceptable. As Lutherans, we are called to serve our neighbors and advocate for just policies that address hunger and poverty.

On Monday, March 3, Bread for the World President Rev. Eugene Cho joins travel writer and hunger advocate Rick Steves for a special edition of Monday Night Travel to discuss the state of global hunger and how U.S. foreign aid impacts the lives of millions. This free online event will provide an inside look at the recent pause in U.S. foreign aid, its effects on hungry families worldwide, and what we can do as people of faith to help restart essential aid programs.

For over 40 years, Rick Steves has supported Bread for the World’s advocacy work, raising awareness about hunger both in the U.S. and abroad. In this conversation, he and Rev. Cho will discuss how policy decisions impact real lives and how we, as Christians, can use our voices to urge Congress to act.

Join us for this important conversation and learn how you can be part of the movement to fight hunger with both compassion and advocacy.

Registration is required but free. For the best experience, download the latest version of Zoom at www.zoom.us/download. If you miss the live session, recordings of past Monday Night Travel shows are available at www.ricksteves.com/mnt.
