Are you a young adult (ages 19-35) seeking community, faith, and adventure? You’re invited to the Grand Canyon Synod Young Adult Winter Retreat, a unique weekend of fellowship, learning, and outdoor fun in the beautiful pines of Prescott, Arizona. Held from January 17 at 7 PM to January 20 at 10 AM at Camp ALOMA (300 Margaret Dr., Prescott, AZ 86305), this retreat promises an engaging and faith-filled experience with other young adults from around our synod.
Young adults from University Lutheran, West Valley Young Adults, Mesa First, and Our Saviour’s East Mesa have already expressed interest, and we encourage everyone to join in this gathering of faith and fellowship. With activities like community-building exercises, hiking, evening games, and—weather permitting—snow play, this retreat offers the perfect opportunity to unwind and connect. Enjoy Laser Tag, s’mores around a cozy fire, and time dedicated to spiritual growth in a welcoming setting.
