As leaders in our congregations and communities, many of us navigate complex transitions, emotional challenges, and the heavy responsibility of supporting those we serve. ELCA Coaching recognizes these realities and offers free resources to help rostered and congregational leaders find hope and healing.
Three Free Individual Coaching Sessions
Rostered and lay leaders facing personal or professional difficulties can schedule up to three free coaching sessions with certified grief and loss coaches. These sessions are designed to help you:
Reflect on recent challenges or transitions.
Break through feelings of isolation and helplessness.
Process grief and emotional struggles.
Develop a clear, forward-looking plan.
To sign up, visit bit.ly/elcacoach or email jill.beverlin@elca.org.
Supportive Spaces Cohort Groups
In addition to individual coaching, ELCA Coaching offers a six-week Supportive Spaces program, a confidential support group designed for church leaders. Participants meet once a week for one hour to share experiences, explore self-care practices, and discuss strategies for resilience in ministry. These sessions are facilitated by professional, ICF-certified coaches and provide a safe space to:
Address fears and anxieties.
Share concerns and emotional responses.
Support vulnerable communities and promote resilience.
Next Session:
Dates: Thursdays, December 5 - January 16 (skipping December 26)
Time: 2-3 PM Mountain Time (adjust to your time zone)
Location: Online via Zoom
Registration is free and open to all leaders. Groups are limited to 12 participants, so register early at bit.ly/supportivespaces or email info@elcacoaching.org for more information.
A Ministry of Healing and Renewal
Rooted in Lutheran theology, these coaching opportunities remind us of God’s promises of healing and restoration. As we share in community with one another, we reflect Christ’s love, finding strength for the journey and hope for the future. Whether through one-on-one coaching or group conversations, these programs provide the space and tools to heal, reflect, and lead with renewed confidence.
Take advantage of these free opportunities to grow personally and spiritually while finding the support you need to thrive in your ministry.
