Experience
I am a native Phoenician and lifelong Lutheran. Over my years in the Valley, I have had the privilege of membership at Prince of Peace in Phoenix, Living Water in Scottsdale and Ascension Lutheran Church in Paradise Valley, among others, and have served on past church councils at Prince of Peace, and currently, at Ascension. Ministries of Outreach and Adult Education are of special interest and have offered opportunities to live out my faith in action that have been most meaningful in the congregations where I have served.
Other ELCA affiliated organizations and ministries where I have served past and present include Lutheran Social Services of the Southwest, Spirit in the Desert Retreat Center, Lutheran Advocacy Ministry of Arizona, Northeast Valley Consortium and Grand Canyon Synod Assemblies representing my congregation.
By profession, I am a retired Registered Nurse and worked for 30 years in the field of Addictions and Psychiatry.
