Are you a faith leader struggling to balance your true thoughts and emotions while leading your community? Many leaders have faced the challenge of maintaining peace while feeling disconnected from their core values. This disconnection can lead to overreactions and a lack of authenticity in leadership.
The “Dare to Lead” training, inspired by Brené Brown’s groundbreaking research, offers a solution. This popular program is back this year with a fall session starting on September 10th, 2024. Open to leaders in any faith community, the training consists of six live online sessions, each focusing on essential skills for daring leadership.
Throughout the 20 contact hours, participants will learn:
• The four skill sets of daring leadership: rumbling with vulnerability, living into our values, braving trust, and learning to rise.
• How to cultivate self-awareness and emotional literacy.
• The importance of appropriate vulnerability and debunking the myths that hinder authenticity.
• How core values inform professional life and guide tough conversations.
• The role of “meaning-making” in the stories we tell ourselves and others.
The sessions will be held on September 10th, 12th, 17th, 19th, October 1st, and 3rd from 7-10:30 am MST/PDT. A makeup session is available for those unable to attend live. Upon completing the course, you will earn a certificate and become Dare to Lead Trained, empowering you to bring these valuable insights to your faith community.
Led by Sarah Ciavarri, a Certified Dare to Lead™ Facilitator, this program offers a unique opportunity to grow as a leader. Sarah brings over a decade of experience in resilience, vulnerability, and shame, ensuring a supportive and enriching learning environment.
