Lutheran World Relief first distributed its quilts in 1945 to families in war-torn Europe following WWII. Today, an average of 300,000 quilts are given annually. This is our opportunity to gather up all of the LWR quilts, and kits (school kits, personal care kits, baby care kits, fabric kits) we’ve made and get them on their journey to a LWR warehouse, where they are repackaged and distributed globally.

Please remember to follow instructions for packing and labeling from LWR. Do not pack anything in plastic or paper bags. Everything must arrive at the Ingathering properly boxed and labeled. Don’t mix items; use separate boxes for each group (quilts, specific kit types). All boxes need to be securely taped and properly labeled. Boxes should not weight more than 40 lb.
