Voting Members

• $140 early bird registration through Monday, 4/15/2024.

• $160 regular registration, 4/16 – Monday, 5/20/2024.

• Lay voting members and rostered ministers (active and retired) all use the same registration.

Info needed

Please have the following information ready for each registrant.

• Email, phone number, mailing address, preferred pronouns, and age group (30 and under, or over 30) for each registrant.

• Ethnicity: Is the registrant a person of color or have a primary language other than English? This information helps us with additional voting member eligibility.

• Special requests and needs: Dietary preferences, translation services, child care needs, box lunch for Saturday noon.

• Willingness to volunteer.

• An answer to the question: what would make the assembly a success?

Please choose one registration at a time and fill out each attendee’s form as you add that registration to your shopping cart. Then we can capture each attendee’s email and assembly needs.

Determining Voting Members

Please visit our page which explains how many voting members your congregation can send, including the new resolution which allows congregations to send one additional lay voting member who is a person of color or person whose primary language is other than English, and one additional lay voting member who is a youth (confirmed to age 17) or young adult (age 18 to 30).

Note: Lay voting members should be split 50/50 male and female.

• All active Ministers of Word and Sacrament (pastors) and Ministers of Word and Service (deacons) on the roster of the Grand Canyon Synod are voting members. 

• Synod Council members and Officers of the Grand Canyon Synod are voting members. Please use our synod council registration form.

• All retired Ministers of Word and Sacrament and Ministers of Word and Service on the roster of the Grand Canyon Synod are voting members.
