Navajo Mission Preparatory School begins new school year
In-person school will begin August 2 at Navajo Mission Preparatory School! President Nez has released orders allowing for schools to open for in-person learning.
Because all last school year was virtual, EVERYONE (students, teachers, parents, grandparents, staff) is excited and busy preparing classrooms, curriculum, meal plans and COVID safety guidelines.
With the start of school comes a lengthy list of ‘must do’ items that are required for the new safety protocols such as air-conditioned classrooms, hand-sanitizing stations, specified desk/table materials, student cubbies…and a long list of other safety measures. COVID relief dollars cover specific expenses. However, retrofitting A/C, electrical upgrades, and a variety of other infrastructure corrections are not covered.
Our school will be required to pass an Indian Health Services inspection prior to opening. At the time, our work needs to be done!
Here are current project needs:
4 mini-split air conditioners for Navajo Mission Preparatory School classrooms - $2,500 each
2 - 75” SMART Boards with computer interface - $6,000 each
5 - 52” round classroom tables ($160 each) and 24 chairs, ($30 each)
Guest House bathroom addition - $4,500
Padded stackable chairs for House of Prayer worship center -$60 each
Many wish list items can be ordered online and shipped directly to the mission. However, we ask that you please let us know if you have shipped items so that we have the information we need to properly receive and acknowledge your gift.
UPS or FedEx (note: UPS is best, FedEx delivers only once per week)

For God so greatly loved and dearly prized the world that He gave up His only unique Son, so that whoever relies on Him shall not be lost but have everlasting life.
