The Nominating Committee invites members of Grand Canyon Synod congregations to prayerfully consider if God is calling them to serve as Synod Secretary or as Youth At-Large Representative.

Elections to fill these positions will take place at the 2022 Synod Assembly on June 10-11, 2022. Full information is on our 2022 Assembly Nominations page. Descriptions of the duties of each open position can be found below.

• A Youth At-Large Representative must be under the age of 18 at the time of election.

• The Synod Secretary is a significant is time commitment. There are over 18 meetings a year which require minutes to be taken. Previous note taking experience would be an asset, either professionally or on a council. Also, knowledge of the Synod Constitution will help.

Any congregational member in good standing may self-nominate or be nominated to open positions. Nomination forms for all positions must be received no later than Friday, 4/22/2022.
