Join the Jubilation: Spirit in the Desert Retreat Center celebrates 30 years of spiritual guidance and community bonds. Don't miss the festivities, reflections, and forward visions on October 21, 2023. Learn more on their event page.

This year marks a significant milestone for the Spirit in the Desert Retreat Center as we celebrate 30 transformative years of ministry, connection, and spiritual rejuvenation. The Center has been a spiritual sanctuary, offering peace, comfort, and inspiration to countless individuals over the years, and on October 21, 2023, we're inviting friends from near and far to join us in commemorating this remarkable journey.

Our "Spirit Shines!" event promises an afternoon of heartfelt celebration, reconnection, and reflection. Whether you've been part of our journey from the beginning or have recently joined the community, we welcome everyone to this festive gathering at our scenic Carefree, Arizona location.

Expect an ambiance of joy and nostalgia, enhanced with the soothing melodies of piano jazz by Dan Delaney. We'll relive cherished memories through a visual journey of Spirit's last 30 years and share future visions during a presentation by Pastor Bob Hutson and the dedicated Spirit team.

One heartfelt moment to anticipate is the dedication of our dining hall in honor of Richard Andersen, a gesture symbolizing our appreciation and remembrance.

And let's not forget the power of shared memories! We're calling on you to dive into your photo albums or digital collections and bring your treasured snapshots of experiences at Spirit. Every picture tells a story, and your stories are the fabric of our rich history. If you're unable to print digital images, please send them to Solveig@Spiritinthedesert.org for inclusion in our collective celebration.

We're more than a retreat center; we're a community where spirits are lifted, and lives are touched. We look forward to honoring our past, reveling in our present, and eagerly anticipating our future — together.
