We are honored to have Deaconess Cheryl Plummer, a seasoned hospice chaplain from the SE Michigan Synod, lead this workshop. With over three decades of dedicated service in spiritual care, Cheryl will share invaluable insights into assessing and addressing the spiritual needs of the dying. The session will cover practical tools and techniques, including the innovative “Death Cafe” communication model, which fosters open discussions about death, aimed at easing the emotional and spiritual journey of those nearing their life’s end.
