Weigh In on LAMA’s 2025 Policy Priorities

The end of the year is swiftly approaching, which means it will soon be time for the LAMA Policy Council to decide what our 2025 Policy Priorities will be.

Each fall, the Policy Council gathers for a retreat and through a process of presentation, debate, and rounds of voting, the council selects what areas and issues LAMA will focus on during the following legislative sessions. Even though the council gets final say over these priorities, it is important to all of us that we reflect the values, concerns, and work going on in our congregations.

2024 Policy Priorities

  • Hunger & Food Insecurity

  • Water

  • Civic Engagement (Voting)

  • Affordable Housing & Homelessness (through our partners at Lutheran Social Services of the Southwest)

Take our survey now and let us know what you want LAMA to work on next year! We encourage you to share this survey with your ministries, small groups, and congregations. We want to hear from our community members across Arizona.
